My Plans for Thanksgiving Break

             My Plans For Thanksgiving Break

It is getting so close to thanksgiving break with school getting off Wednesday next weekend and I am so excited. So far my roommates and I have hosted one Friendsgiving at our house and are planning two more for the weekend. It is such a great holiday to get to know people, socialize, and eat delicious food. My favorite portion is that it is a holiday just to be thankful for everything you have in your life whether it be events from the year, people who have affected your life, or simply being grateful for life. My family has a tradition where we go around and say one thing we are thankful for from the year. It is a great holiday even though it is very close to Christmas I believe it should not be overlooked.

My plans for this thanksgiving start already this weekend on Saturday. My roommate Kennedy is hosting a Friendsgiving at our house which should be amazing to have all this community and food together. On Monday I will be attending another Friendsgiving which is hosted by a church group I am involved in on campus. After that, I will be leaving Fargo on Tuesday to make my way home to Watertown, SD. Once there I get to relax for a day and enjoy my break but soon after I get to work at the zoo. On Thanksgiving day I go to my grandma's and spend the day with my family having food like turkey, mashed potatoes, and pie. I then will have a couple days to spend time with family before heading back to campus on Sunday.
